Well, to say we are impressed would be an understatement. Two nights in a row, 2 soaks and the temperature was superb! Lighting the fire has not been an issue and the next day I restarted the fire before I went on a bike ride and upon my return the temperature was spot on. The hot tub arrived in superb condition and was installed in time for a soak on the Friday of Labour Weekend as hoped! The quality is excellent - as expected - and the ease of use and experience has  exceeded expectations.
Just over an hour to heat the first time and still warm enough at lunchtime the next day to warm up after a dive.

I can't remember when I last wrote a testimonial for a product or service. I suppose that's because most products and services are rubbish these days.
But this morning I woke up energised and determined to share with you my thoughts and experiences after purchasing a hot tub from Berend some 6 months ago.
During the lockdown we decided -after viewing the many hot tub options available- to go with the slightly more expensive option of a handmade tub with an internal fire unit.
Well, how can I say this so you really get the message.. from the moment we made inquiry contact with Berend by phone and he installed the tub at our home: I think it is impossible to get a better product or service.
As you would expect from a German super craftsman, the quality is unreal...from the tub itself to the ingenious heating unit...and its great performance.. simply, you can't get better!!
I have waited six months to write this review so I could test the product and to comment on any after sales service issues I might have.
I contacted Berend on a few occasions, not that there was anything at all wrong. I just wanted some advice from him to achieve maximum output.. eg. types of firewood etc.
Each time he was incredibly helpful and so knowledgeable... the PHD of hot tubs!!! Simply, he knows it all when it comes to wood fired tubs.
If you live in or near Queenstown and want to try the tub then give Berend a call...he will give you my name,
I will crank the tub for you and you can enjoy a few hours soaking on me !!
It's simply a superb product wonderfully crafted...and Berend offers superb after sales service !!

So....If you have the funds ....appreciate absolute quality....and like lighting a fire....AND you don't buy this brilliant hot tub....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!
